In 1938, Tobias Gluck escaped Nazi persecution in Austria and resettled in Havana, Cuba, establishing a small diamond trading business built on the principles of fairness, quality, and service.
Growing the Business
After relocating to NYC's Diamond District, Tobias was joined by his son Sidney and son-in-law, Michael Ellis. Michael's son Mark later joined, along with Luarie Fermo and Gideon Kamil, and the company that started as a small supplier became an industry leader.
